Authorities said the first shooting happened near 28th Street and Auer Avenue about 10 p.m. Friday.

Investigators said the victim was found in an alley and died.

The second homicide happened near 11th and Orchard streets about 3:30 a.m. Saturday.

Officials said a 24-year-old man was shot.

No arrests have been made in either case.

MILWAUKEE (WITI) — The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that happened in a neighborhood near 28th and Burleigh late Friday, May 15th.

An 18-year-old Milwaukee man was found in an alley shortly after 10 p.m. suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

There are no suspects in custody.

 BELOIT (WKOW) --- Rock County officials say they have arrested Andre D. Robinson Sr. for First Degree Intentional Homicide in the death of Brandy L. Carroll of Beloit.

Beloit Township Police responded to 1966 Dewey Avenue in Beloit on May 9 at 9:35 a.m.  The person calling says they spoke to Andre D. Robinson Sr. and told police that there was an altercation at the house and wanted them to check on them.

WAUPUN (WITI) — An overnight apartment fire in Dodge County has left one person dead.

The Waupun Fire Department on Thursday night, May 14th responded to the scene of an apartment fire on Brown Street. The call came in around 9:53 p.m.

When crews arrived on scene, smoke was coming from the window of a first-floor apartment. Firefighters were able to knock down the flames within 30 minutes of getting on scene.

One person was killed in the fire.

Officials say eight apartments were affected  — and 17 people have been displaced.

MANISTIQUE, Mich. (AP) - Authorities in the Upper Peninsula have charged three people with murder and other crimes in the deaths of three people whose bodies were found in a burned-out car in Schoolcraft County.

Marietta Carlson, Ken Brunke and Garry Cordell appeared in court Friday. They're accused in the deaths of Jody Hutchinson and sisters Carrie Nelson and Heather Aldrich.

WAUSAU (WAOW) - Bond was set for a 37-year-old Wausau man Friday. A Marathon County Circut Court judge ordered $250,000 cash bond for Michael Taylor.

Taylor was accused Thursday of supplying the heroin that killed a man found dead in a Rothschild motel room, according to a criminal complaint.

Michael H. Taylor was charged with being party to first-degree reckless homicide in the September death of Mark Blaskowski, 49. Taylor was also charged with being party to the manufacture and delivery of heroin, also a felony.

JANESVILLE (AP) -- A 42-year-old man has been sentenced to life in prison for an attack that left two young girls with life-threatening injuries in Walworth County.

The Janesville Gazette reports Larry Shannon, of Whitewater, stared at the ceiling and smirked as he was sentenced Friday.

In February, he was convicted of tying up two girls for hours after slashing their necks with a kitchen knife, sexually assaulting one girl and leading law enforcement on a two-county chase in October 2012.

UPDATE (WKOW) -- Town of Beloit police say a woman whose body was found inside a garage on S. Dewey Avenue has likely been dead since early Saturday morning. 

Andre Robinson, who lives at the home, was taken into custody at the scene. He's being held on a probation violation and for resisting officers.

MILWAUKEE (WITI) — It was the important work at the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office that helped identify Kelly Dwyer. It is national experts who will likely be called in to help next.

One of the largest questions in a year and half mystery is now solved. Kelly Dwyer has been found.

Experts say it is a major step in determining what happened to her.

“Your case is almost always cold until a body is found,” said Forensic Anthropologist, Dr. Rick Snow.
