Recent Book Release

Steve Daniels, WAHI charter member, and chair of the Cold Case Review Team, is pleased to announce that his first book: HARRY: A Teenage Mass Murderer, will be released in August 2014.

The book investigates a 1963 murder in Green Bay, where a teenager massacred his entire family. This very well could be the first documented teen mass murder in the State's history. Many have followed, but this book will delve into the mind of a teen killer long before they were "commonplace".

Man convicted of burning sons to death wants to change plea

Darlington — A Wisconsin man convicted of killing his three young sons by setting fire to their house in 2012 wants to withdraw his guilty plea.

A post-conviction motion filed in Lafayette County Circuit Court claims Armin Wand was tricked into confessing to crimes he didn't commit. If a judge decides to grant the motion, Wand would have the chance to change his plea and request a new trial. If the motion is denied, defense attorney Patricia Fitzgerald tells the State Journal she will ask the state Court of Appeals to overturn it.
