ANTIGO (WAOW) -- A shooting has been confirmed at Antigo High School during the school prom Saturday evening. 

A person showed up with a rifle outside of the building and started shooting at about 11 p.m., according to Antigo Police Chief Eric Roller. 

Two students from the prom were shot as they exited the building, Roller said. He says they have non-life threatening injuries. 

Officers were in the parking lot patrolling the prom, heard the shots, and an officer immediately fired upon the shooter, stopping the threat, the Chief said.

CUDAHY -- A man and a child are dead after an apparent murder-suicide that occurred in a Cudahy home near Whittaker and Kirkwood early on Friday, January 1st. Heartbroken family and friends created a makeshift memorial on the front steps of the Cudahy home after learning of the tragedy that took place. 

"I haven’t slept at all last night…or this morning," said Carol Kolbe, family friend.

Police say they received a 911 call from a woman asking for medical help around 1:40 a.m.

"This is a horrific tragedy," said Chief Tom Poellot, Cudahy Police Departmnet.

WEST ALLIS, Wis. —Police received word of a shooting inside Heartbreakers Gentlemen's Club on 95th Street and National Avenue early Friday morning.

Just before 4 a.m., the West Allis Police Department along with five other squads responded to the incident. An investigation found that a patron had fired once while in the building.

The suspect, a 33-year-old Milwaukee man, was disarmed by Heartbreakers employees and later arrested.

ASHLAND, Wis. (AP) -- Authorities have identified the three people found dead on Christmas Eve in what police call a double murder-suicide in the northern Wisconsin community of Ashland.

In a statement Saturday, the Ashland Police Department says the victims are 23-year-old Zhara Parent and her 84-year-old mother in law, Patricia Parent. It names the suspect as Patricia Parent's 54-year-old son, Daniel Parent.

The statement didn't specify how Daniel and Zhara Parent were related. A sheriff's dispatcher said officials on duty Saturday night weren't sure.

KENOSHA, Wis. (AP) - Police say a suspect is in custody and a victim was wounded in a shooting at a McDonald's restaurant in Kenosha.

Sgt. James Beller says it happened around 10:45 a.m. Saturday, outside the building in the drive-thru area. He says the suspect and the victim were acquainted with each other, but the motive remains under investigation.

Beller says the suspect fired into a minivan and wounded the victim. The suspect was arrested a short time later at a residence in Kenosha. He says the victim is hospitalized in stable condition.

MADISON (WKOW) -- An Indiana man was arrested after police responded to a report of shots fired at a gas station located in the 45-hundred block of Verona Road. Police responded to the incident around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday. Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered evidence that a firearm had been fired in the area.

MILWAUKEE, Wis. —A 28-year-old man was shot Sunday in an effort to stop an attempted robbery at a Popeyes restaurant, police said.

The shooter, who remains at large, opened fire inside the restaurant in the 1500 block of West National Avenue around 6 p.m., police said.

The victim, who is expected to be OK, is being treated at a hospital.

Police said the victim is from Milwaukee.

No other information was immediately made available.

MADISON (WKOW)-- A Madison man is in the hospital, after being shot in his car on the beltline Saturday afternoon.

According to Madison Police, the 26-year-old victim arrived at St. Mary's Hospital around 1:10 Saturday afternoon. Police believe the shooting happened on westbound beltline near Park Street. Police say the victim suffered a non-life threatening injury.
