Police arrest man at shots fired incident
MADISON (WKOW) -- An Indiana man was arrested after police responded to a report of shots fired at a gas station located in the 45-hundred block of Verona Road. Police responded to the incident around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday. Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered evidence that a firearm had been fired in the area.
While police were at this location, they came in contact with 18-year-old Leonard Ward of Indiana. Police also discovered a firearm in Ward's possession. Ward was arrested and taken into custody. Police are still investigating Ward's involvement in the shots fired incident.
Police also report that there were no injuries stemming from the shots fired at the Verona Road location.
