APPLETON – A 27-year-old man is in custody for allegedly stabbing another man in Appleton early Wednesday morning.

Police say they were called to a residence in the 1000 block of E. Windfield Place around 1 a.m.

They found a 27-year-old man with multiple cuts and stab wounds. He went to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Appleton police issued an alert for the suspect and his vehicle. He was eventually spotted by the Grand Chute Police Department. The suspect was arrested at a nearby hotel.

The suspect is being held on a probation violation.

BALSAM LAKE (AP) – A judge in western Wisconsin has ordered a Minnesota teen to stand trial on charges of fatally stabbing a fisherman during a confrontation along the St. Croix River.

Nineteen-year-old Levi Acre-Kendall is charged with first-degree reckless homicide in the April 14th death of 34-year-old Peter Kelly at Interstate State Park in St. Croix Falls on the border of Minnesota.

MILWAUKEE —Charges have been filed against two brothers accused of shooting a man who authorities say entered their house on April 14.

Court documents charge Aaron Jones, 26, and Aric Jones, 24, with second-degree intentional homicide in the death of Michael Conte Powell-Gray.

According to the criminal complaint, Aaron Jones said Powell-Gray rang his doorbell and asked for "Mike." Jones turned him away, saying a Mike did not live there.

MILWAUKEE (WITI) — Police are investigating a shooting in which a 53-year-old Milwaukee woman was seriously injured. The suspect(s) got away with the victim’s car, police say.

It happened just after 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 21st near 50th and Locust.

The victim was taken to the hospital, and though she was seriously injured, she is expected to survive.

Police say the suspect(s) stole the woman’s 2007 red Chrsyler Pacifica SUV.

MILWAUKEE --  Milwaukee police are investigating a fatal shooting on the city's near south side.

Milwaukee police said the shooting happened around 11 p.m. Monday near 8th Street and Hayes Avenue.

The victim, Randall R. Radtke, 25, was shot outside a residence and pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials continue to search for the suspect(s).

A motive is unknown at this time.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Detectives in Dane County are hopeful that new evidence in a 32-year-old homicide case will help them finally solve it.

In August 1982, 34-year-old Barbara Nelson was found dead in a cornfield five days after she was abducted from the Mini Stop and Shop in Albion. Nelson, who was married and had a 3-year-old daughter, had been shot twice and her face and head were badly beaten.

RACINE, Wis. (AP) - Authorities are investigating an attempted homicide after a man and woman were seriously injured in a cutting incident in Racine.

Lt. Alfred Days of the Racine Police Department says officers found the victims after responding to the scene about 6 a.m. Sunday. He says the victims were taken with serious injuries to a local hospital.

Days says the woman is being treated for potentially life-threatening injuries.

No arrests had been made as of late Sunday night.

RACINE – The 24-year-old man identified as a suspect in the March 29 stabbing at the Riverside Inn has been taken into custody, according to Racine police.

Jesse James Moll has been arrested and is currently in the Racine County Jail, according to information Racine police released Monday morning.

“Thank you to everyone who provided tips and information,” the police stated online.

According to online jail inmate records Moll was taken into custody on Friday.

He is being held for “absconding,” according to online records.

MADISON (WKOW) – The Dane County Sheriff's Office has arrested three more people in connection with the homicide case of a man found in Lake Mendota earlier this month.

Detectives booked 35-year-old Saul Garcia-Rosario, 37-year-old Elmer Ramirez-Milian, and 28-year-old Erlin Vargas into the Dane County Jail last Friday.

WEST ALLIS, Wis. —Authorities have identified a 37-year-old man killed in a double shooting earlier this month just outside of Milwaukee.

The shooting took place April 8 in an alley in a West Allis neighborhood. Police were called after a 20-year-old Milwaukee woman involved in the shooting was able to seek help at a nearby home.

The responding officers found Henry Hodges of Milwaukee dead at the scene. The woman, who hasn't been identified, was taken to a local hospital. Her current condition wasn't immediately known.
