BARRON, Wis. - A criminal complaint released in Barron County Circuit Court Monday provides details of 21-year-old Jake Patterson’s plan for kidnapping Jayme Closs, killing her parents and concealing Jayme at his house.
Patterson was charged Monday with kidnapping, two counts of first-degree intentional homicide and armed burglary in the abduction of 13-year-old Closs and the slaying of her parents.
USA Today - Nearly three months after her parents were shot dead in their Wisconsin home and a nationwide search began to locate the missing 13-year-old girl, Jayme Closs has been found alive.
The girl described by friends as a "sweet and shy" middle schooler was found in a neighborhood in northwestern Wisconsin about an hour's drive from her home in Barron, Wisconsin.
EAST TROY -- Sources tell FOX6 News Walworth County authorities are investigating after two bodies were found on a property near Woodfield Court and Highway J in East Troy. Officials arrived at the property on Thursday, Jan. 10, and shut down a portion of Highway J while crews from multiple agencies swarmed the scene.
This is a Franklin Police Department investigation but they have not confirmed any details to FOX6 News.

WAUPUN, Wis. (CNN) Chris Watts, the man who killed his pregnant wife and two children, has been transferred from a Colorado prison to Wisconsin.
KKTV-TV reports Watts arrived at the Dodge Correctional Institution in Waupun last week, but will most likely be moved to another facility which hasn't been named.
GREEN BAY - A man is in the hospital after being shot Thursday night on the city's east side.
Police were called just after 11:30 p.m. for a report of shots fired in the 1200 block of Chicago Street, said Jim Runge, detective commander with the Green Bay Police Department.
One man was shot once in the arm. He was taken to a local hospital where he is being treated for non life-threatening injuries.
Officers found five shell casings in the area where the shooting occurred.
Police have not arrested anyone in connection to the shooting.
MADISON (WKOW) — A prosecutor says the victim of a Madison shooting needs a lung transplant after a bullet pierced her chest.
Roy Yoakum, 36, is charged in the shooting. He was formally charged Wednesday with attempted first degree intentional homicide.
Authorities say a love triangle led Yoakum to shoot a 29-year-old woman last month at a home on Fair Oaks Avenue.
A prosecutor says a transplant is needed for the woman’s recovery.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — When a 10-year-old Wisconsin girl was charged with homicide this week in the death of an infant, it was a rare — but not unprecedented — case of adult charges being filed against someone so young.
UPDATE (WKOW) — A man has died following a shooting at a home in Beloit.
Police say the victim is a 49-year-old man. They say he died at Mercy Hospital.
Police arrested a 20-year-old suspect at the scene.
Officers say they are not seeking any other suspects.
Police expect their investigation will last several more hours.
