MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Around 4 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 12, the Madison Police Department said the woman who was shot on the east side Sunday evening is now in stable condition at the hospital.
According to the Madison Police Department, a 29-year-old woman was found with a single gunshot wound to the chest near North Fair Oaks Avenue and Milwaukee Street around 9:02 p.m. on Sunday.
JANESVILLE (WKOW) — Police say a 17-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with a two-car crash that killed a 74-year-old Milton woman.
Sgt. Brian Vaughn of the Janesville Police Department tells Channel 27 News Ty M. Matijevich of Janesville was arrested late Friday afternoon for the incident that happened October 19 at Milton Avenue in front of Janesville Mall.
An arrest was made Thursday, Oct. 11, in Sturgeon Bay’s oldest missing person cold case.
Richard Gale Pierce, 82, was arrested in his hometown of Cheboygan, Mich., for the alleged murder of his wife, Carol Jean Pierce, who was last seen in Sturgeon Bay in early September 1975.

In the town of Hesper, a remote area in northeastern Iowa, a marked gravestone lies in a cemetery without a body.
The headstone reads: Ricky Jean Bryant, 1945-1949, but no casket will be found underneath the soil. It’s another odd twist in the mysterious case of Bryant, a four-year-old girl from rural Mauston who vanished during a house fire Dec. 19, 1949. She was never heard from again.

UPDATE (WKOW) -- Authorities say it appears homicide suspect John Hamann posted a rant against women on Facebook around the time of the killing of 82-year old Agnes Bram of Middleton.
Hamann appeared in Dane County Court Tuesday on a charge of first degree intentional homicide. A court commissioner set Hamann's bail at $500,000.
LAKE DELTON (WKOW) -- Lake Delton Police say a man is in the hospital after a stabbing incident Wednesday night.
Police responded to a verbal disturbance at an apartment complex on West Adams Street around 8:50 p.m. Officers found a man lying in the parking lot of the building. He had been stabbed several times.
