GREEN BAY - A man is in the hospital after being shot Thursday night on the city's east side.
Police were called just after 11:30 p.m. for a report of shots fired in the 1200 block of Chicago Street, said Jim Runge, detective commander with the Green Bay Police Department.
One man was shot once in the arm. He was taken to a local hospital where he is being treated for non life-threatening injuries.
Officers found five shell casings in the area where the shooting occurred.
Police have not arrested anyone in connection to the shooting.
Although police do not know for sure, Runge said, it is suspected the dispute sparked over a "drug transaction."
