Husband Arrested for Murder in 43-Year-Old Sturgeon Bay Case. WAHI Cold Case Review Team Assists.

An arrest was made Thursday, Oct. 11, in Sturgeon Bay’s oldest missing person cold case.  Richard Gale Pierce, 82, was arrested in his hometown of Cheboygan, Mich., for the alleged murder of his wife, Carol Jean Pierce, who was last seen in Sturgeon Bay in early September 1975.
