TOWN OF SHARON (WKOW) -- A Walworth County man is charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor in a July shooting in which his son shot and killed another boy.
Court records show Michael Webb, 45, was officially charged this week.
An 11-year-old boy was shot and killed at his property on July 9.
A criminal complaint in the case obtained by 27 News states deputies interviewed Webb's then 13-year-old son and learned he and the victims were playing with handguns when the 11-year-old was shot in the head.
The complaint also states that when asked to account for firearms in the house, Webb looked for two .22-caliber pistols in the kitchen. Deputies later found the guns in a barn, one with blood on it. Webb also told authorities he kept more than a dozen guns inside a safe in his son's bedroom, but the safe was not locked and his son knew where to find the key and was allowed to access the firearms.
