Bloomer police investigating early morning shooting
BLOOMER, Wis. (WEAU) -- Bloomer police are investigating an early morning shooting that left one person with minor injuries.
It happened Monday around 5 a.m. near the Bloomer Community Fairgrounds on 9th Avenue.
A man, who identified himself as the victim, says the gunshot grazed the side of his head. He was at the Bloomer Police Department, meeting with officers, and is expected to be fine.
Investigators are releasing little information about this point, aside to say they are working with the Chippewa County Sheriff's Department on the investigation.
The alleged victim says he knows the shooter.
