MILWAUKEE (WKOW) -- Police have named the suspect they say shot an officer from Wauwatosa.
Authorities say he is 20-year-old Najee Harmon.
Police have now narrowed their search down to a neighborhood at North 12th Street and Keefe Avenue in Milwaukee.
Three officers in Wauwatosa were investigating a burglary Friday morning, when officials say the suspect shot at police.
One officer was hit.
He underwent surgery, and is now listed in serious but stable condition.

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- The hunt continues for the person who shot and wounded a suburban Milwaukee police officer, but authorities say they know who they are looking for.
Milwaukee Police Chief Ed Flynn did not release the suspect's name, but warned the person is armed and dangerous.
Three Wauwatosa police officers were investigating a burglary in that city Friday morning when they confronted a suspect in a car in a Milwaukee apartment parking lot.
The suspect opened fire on the officers and the officers fired back. A 52-year-old plain-clothed detective, who has 25 years of service, was hit once. The suspect ran away. Flynn said there's no indication that the suspect was hurt.
Wauwatosa Police Chief Barry Weber says the detective was in serious but stable condition after undergoing surgery.

MILWAUKEE (WISN) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a report of shots fired at an officer on the city's north side.
District 4 officers said an incident involving a Wauwatosa police officer took place near 60th and Hustis Street just after 9 a.m.
Milwaukee Police said a Wauwatosa police officer investigating a burglary in the 7100 block of North 60th Street was shot. MPD said the officer suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
There are markings on the ground of at least 11 shell casings in a parking lot at the complex.
Police are searching for a person who ran from the scene. The search area extends from Green Tree north to Good Hope, between 51st and 60th street.
The suspect is described as an African-American man in his mid 20s, thin build and a long ponytail. He was wearing a grey sweatshirt and black pants.
WISN 12 News reporter Tim Elliott said officers with guns drawn are patrolling an area near Barton School.
