MADISON (WKOW) -- The 19-year-old accused in Friday's shooting at Interstate Blood and Plasma now faces two felony charges.
Prosecutors filed charges against Aquan Bell on Tuesday. He faces one count of felony injury by negligent handling of a dangerous weapon and one felony count of possession of a firearm.
According to the criminal complaint, Bell told police he was in the bathroom of Interstate Blood and Plasma, and when he checked whether the safety of his handgun was on, it went off.
The complaint says a nurse at the facility was shot in the foot.
Bell is due back in court next month.
