Woman says she was shot at on Beltline
MADISON, Wis. - A woman told police that her car was struck by gunfire from another car early Monday morning on the Beltline.
Madison police said officers in the area of Whitney Way and Gilbert Road reported hearing gunshots coming from the southwest at about 12:45 a.m. The woman called a short time later and said her vehicle was hit by gunfire from another vehicle, and her male passenger was cut by flying glass.
The woman refused to tell police where she was and didn’t allow them to inspect her car. She said no one needed medical attention.
