More details in Eau Claire drive-by shooting

EAU CLAIRE COUNTY, Wis. (WEAU) -- New information has been released on a drive-by shooting that happened in Eau Claire County.

The shooting happened on the 4200 block of County Trunk I in Pleasant Valley around 5:30 Tuesday evening.

According to Sheriff Ron Cramer, investigators found three handguns in the area where the shooting happened.

He says the suspects were shooting out of a moving vehicle at random and did not know where they were shooting. Two people were walking in the area but were not hit and no one was hurt. He says the suspects did not know the victims.

The witnesses were able to provide a description of the vehicle which helped deputies track the suspects. They were arrested a short time later on London Road near Eau Claire.

Three of the four suspects are still in jail. Sheriff Cramer says they all have prior convictions, some involving gun charges. Their names are not being released at this time.
