TOWN OF MITCHELL -- New information has been released surrounding the death of a 4-year-old boy in Sheboygan County
The boy's mother's fiancé has been charged in his death.
Armando Aguirre, 31, has been charged with second degree reckless homicide. According to the criminal complaint, Aguirre was babysitting on Friday, April 15. He told police he was spinning the boy by his knees when the his head suddenly hit the ground.
Aguirre was seen trying to revive the child when first responders arrived at the Town of Mitchell home.
The county district attorney said doctors stated the blows to the child's head were equivalent to a 4-story fall.
After several interviews the DA said investigators are not questioning Aguirre's story, but believe it was no accident.
