Madison Police respond to two incidents of shots fired Friday night

 MADISON (WKOW) -- Police are investigating two reports of shots fired on the city's west side.  

The first case of shots fired was called in around 10:20 Friday.  Multiple shots were heard in the area of the 6900-block of Park Ridge Drive.  A witness told police they saw a man running away, but no victims or damages were found.  

The second incident happened at 10:40 p.m. Friday, after an apparent fight in the BP gas station parking lot on Verona Road, near the beltline.  Two shots were fired, but the suspects and cars involved left before police arrived.  Police found shell casings, but no victims were located.  

Both incidents are under investigation.
