WAUKESHA -- The two girls accused in the Slender Man stabbing will make another court appearance Friday afternoon.

A judge will determine if there is enough evidence to try Morgan Geyser and Anissa Weier as adults for attempted first-degree intentional homicide. If not, the case will move to juvenile court.

In a previous court appearance, a judge ordered that both girls were competent to stand trial.

Geyser and Weier are accused of stabbing a classmate 19 times in May 2014. The girls told investigators the attack was to please the fictional character named Slender Man.

Both girls had a two-day preliminary hearing on February 16 and 17 where investigators said they found mutilated barbie dolls and distributing drawings in one of the girls' bedrooms

The proceedings will begin at 1:30 p.m. in the Waukesha County Courthouse.
