BELOIT (WKOW) -- The Beloit Police Department say five people were arrested after a shooting spree in Beloit Thursday night.

The five people were arrested in Winnebago County, Illinois and have charges in Illinois and in Beloit.

Police say two of the arrested subjects are juveniles from Rockford.

The others arrested are 19-year-old Cole G. Page of Beloit, 19-year-old Mark L. Kelly of Woodstock, Illinois and 20-year-old Savanna R. Denton of Rockton, Illinois. Denton was arrested on charges out of Winnebago County, IL.

Beloit police captain Dan Molland says he expects charges against Kelly and Page to be updated and upgraded. Molland also said he believes the shootings were gang-related.

Page, Kelly and Denton are being held in Winnebago County Jail in Illinois pending the investigation.
