MADISON (WKOW) --- A criminal complaint against 17-year old Dean Sutcliffe states Sutcliffe told his former girlfriend he was going to kill her sister, one day before authorities say Sutcliffe fatally shot 16-year Ariyl Brady and 39-year old Chris Schwichtenberg at a Mazomanie mobile home.
Bail was set Thursday at $2 million for Sutcliffe, who is charged with two counts of first degree intentional homicide.
Court documents say Sutcliffe had a .22 caliber pistol and shot both victims in the head.
Authorities say Sutcliffe surrendered in front of the mobile home.
The criminal complaint states Sutcliffe's former girlfriend had moved from Mazomanie to her father's home near Deerfield two weeks before the shooting.
Court records state Sutcliffe blamed Ariyl Brady for her sister's departure. On the night before the homicides, the criminal complaint states Sutcliffe and his former girlfriend exchanged text messages with Sutcliffe making the death threat against Brady, saying he would "skin her."
The complaint states, on the night of the killings, Sutcliffe asked his 12-year-old sister where the key to the family's gun cabinet was and told her he was going out while his parents were away at work.
Court records state Sutcliffe left a note for his parents.
"I am sorry for what I am going to do, " Sutcliffe wrote, according to the complaint.
"I'm never getting into a relationship again," the criminal compliant quotes Sutcliffe as telling deputies at the crime scene. "I got into this one, and I ended up killing two people."
"It was so easy," Sutcliffe is quoted as telling deputies of the shooting, shortly after his surrender. "Why was it so easy?"
The criminal complaint states a witness to the shooting of Schwichtenberg says Sutcliffe blamed Schwichtenberg for the failed teen relationship as he shot him, saying, "You deserve this." Authorities say the adult witness and two other teenagers in the mobile home were unharmed.
Sutcliffe's father attended Thursday's curt hearing, but left without comment. Sutcliffe appeared in court in a suicide prevention garment.
Sutcliffe attended school with Brady at Wisconsin Heights High, after Sutcliffe briefly attended a boot camp-style school for at risk youth, Wisconsin Challenge Academy, last month.

Sutcliffe is charged with two counts of first degree intentional homicide. He is scheduled to make an initial court appearance at 1:30 p.m. Thursday.
According to the complaint, a witness said Sutcliffe blamed Schwichtenberg for taking his former girlfriend away from him as he entered Schwichtenberg's Mazomanie mobile home Monday, and then shot and killed him.
