The Buffalo County Sheriff's Department is investigating the death of a man who's body was found in the Mississippi River.
The 62-year-old man was found shortly after 10:30 a.m. Monday, in the Mississippi River in the Alma area. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The name of the person is being withheld pending family notification.
Assisting at the scene were Alma Ambulance, Alma Fire Department, Buffalo Coroner's Office, Burlington Northern safety crew. WXOW
