NECEDAH, Wis. - A 24-year-old man is dead after a shooting in Juneau County early Thursday morning, according to a release.
Sheriff’s deputies were sent to a residence in the village of Necedah around 12:50 a.m. for a report of a man being shot at, officials said.
The 24-year-old was taken to Hess Memorial Hospital by Camp Douglas Ambulance, where he died from his injury, according to the release.
A 21-year-old woman who knew the man and was at the residence was taken into custody, deputies said. Officials anticipate charges to be formally filed against the woman on Friday.
