MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison Police confirm one person was shot at State Street Brats Saturday morning.
They responded to a call of shots fired just after 1:00 a.m., at the bar located on State Street, near UW's campus.
A 25-year-old woman was suffering from a gunshot wound. She was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover.
The bar closed early. Police interviewed employees as to what happened. A WiscAlert was issued, asking people to avoid the area.
UW Madison Police report there is no immediate threat to campus. Madison Police continue to investigate.
