Man wanted in drug related case shot by police

MILWAUKEE —Undercover officers attempting to take down a potential drug dealer during an investigation shot and killed a man Thursday night near 19th Place and Stark Street, Milwaukee Police Chief Ed Flynn said. 

Milwaukee police, West Allis police and undercover officers from the Drug Enforcement Administration were conducting the investigation.

It's unclear if the man was shot and killed in his car or was running away from police. 

Racine County man accused of poisoning wife with Visine

RACINE COUNTY, Wis. —A Burlington man has been putting Visine into his wife's beverages, causing her to have symptoms of low energy, diarrhea and blurry vision, a criminal complaint filed this week said.

Darin Tiedt, 45, faces more than 10 years in prison and more than $30,000 in fines if convicted.

Janet Raaschs Portage County murder mystery endures for decades

STEVENS POINT - The phone began to ring inside a farmhouse near Merrill.

Nancy Raasch and her father, Leland, had only just returned home after spending most of the day hunting deer.

Nancy, 21, picked up the phone and heard the voice of a deputy from the Portage County Sheriff's Office. Her sister, Janet Raasch, was dead.

Hope despair for families of missing kids

They came from big cities and small towns. They ranged from toddlers to teenagers, and their family circumstances and upbringings varied widely.

They are Wisconsin's lost children — missing, endangered and the subject of painful memories for loved ones.

Some were taken by strangers. Others were likely victimized by someone they knew. A few might have died accidentally.

Some might still be alive.

The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System has identified 19 Wisconsin minors who disappeared and have never been found.

38 year old Milwaukee man charged in homicide at Mikes Place Bar

MILWAUKEE -- 38-year-old Michael Cooper of Milwaukee man is facing criminal charges -- accused in the shooting death of Michael Patton, found dead at "Mike's Place" bar at 35th and Silver Spring on October 24th. Cooper is also accused of shooting a witness in that case.

Cooper is facing the following charges: first degree intentional homicide, use of a dangerous weapon -- and possession of a firearm by a felon.

"Nobody deserved what happened to him," said Sarah Rajkovic, Silver Spring Tap bartender.

Man shot and killed while sitting in car at 57th and center

MILWAUKEE —A 25-year-old man was shot while sitting in a car Friday afternoon near 57th and Center streets. 

Police said he was taken to an area hospital, where he died.

No one has been arrested.

Driver involved in fatal crash suspected of drug use

DANE COUNTY, Wis. (WMTV)---The driver of an SUV that was involved in a fatal crash late Thursday night in the Town of Burke has been arrested. 

According to the Dane County Sheriff’s Office, 18-year-old Noah Davis of Madison faces a charge of homicide by negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

DNA leads to arrest in Janesville cold case

JANESVILLE, Wis. (WMTV)—DNA has helped identify a suspect in a Janesville cold case. 

According to the Janesville Police Department, 53-year-old Kelly L. Baxter was arrested on Wednesday at the Janesville Police Department.
