Man is dead following apartment explosion


RICE LAKE, Wis. (WEAU) -- A man is dead after following through with a threat to blow up his apartment in Rice Lake. The Rice Lake Police Department says Joseph Zunker, 44, called police around 11p.m., Sunday, before setting off the explosion.

2 shot is separate Milwaukee shooting incidents


MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee police are investigating two separate shooting incidents that occurred late Monday night, January 16th and early Tuesday morning, January 17th. The first shooting occurred near 35th and Rohr around 11:00 p.m.

FBI most wanted taken into custody


Investigators said on July 17th, a fight between a group of seven or eight men ended when Strickland started shooting near 26th and Hopkins on Milwaukee's north side. Maurice Brown Jr. and Michael Reed died from their injuries.

Investigators suspect driver accused in fatal crash was under influence of marijuana


MILWAUKEE — A 22-year-old Milwaukee man has been criminally charged in connection with a fatal crash that happened near 13th and Capitol Drive on January 5th — accused of causing the death of James Bentley. The crash involved two vehicles — a blue Chevy Astro van and a red BMW X3.

MILWAUKEE, WI -- A Milwaukee man is dead, and a woman working as an exotic dancer faces homicide charges after police say the woman lured the man to her apartment for sex, only to have an armed robbery attempt devolve into murder.
